All aspirants of IMSU, are hereby informed that the cut off mark for the 2023/2024 academic session has been announced.
Imo State University, Owerri has decided on and announced the cut-off mark that candidates who are seeking admission into the school must meet to be eligible for admission.
If your JAMB UTME score is equivalent to or above the said cut-off point, IMSU would likely grant you admission as long as your O’Level result combination is okay.
Imo State University, Owerri is considered one of the best tertiary institutions in the country and as is the standard, they have decided on a fixed cut off mark for all admission seekers into the school.
Candidates who scored up to that in the Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB) are eligible to apply for their Post-UTME screening.
IMSU Cut off Mark 2023
The present UTME Cut off Mark for IMSU is 150. Candidates who made IMSU their first choice of institution in the just concluded JAMB UTME can apply for admission into their department of choice.
IMSU has also made available supplementary forms for candidates who could not meet the minimum cut off point for their department.
Interested applicants are required to have at least 5 Credits in their WAEC or NECO Result in addition to scoring at least 150 in the JAMB UTME.

Again, IMSU Departmental cut off mark is 150. Any subsequent updates made to this cut off mark will be shared on the institution’s website.
Also note that only applicants who put Imo State University, Owerri as their first choice of institution are eligible to apply for their Post-UTME screening.
